Friday, March 22, 5:00-8:00 PM PACKET PICK-UP & PRE-RACE MEETING for 100-KM INDIVIDUAL & 100-MILE RELAY RACES Pre-race packet pick-up and required pre-race meeting will be held on Friday, March 22th, at the International Swimming Hall of Fame Museum, across the street from the Courtyard Hotel on State Road A1A Southbound. Actual race location is the auditorium in the Museum building at the back (Intracoastal Waterway end) of the Hall of Fame property. Packet pick-up is from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Pre-race meeting begins at 6:30 and will last approximately one hour. All 100 kilometer individual runners and at least one representative from each team must attend, although all team members are strongly encouraged to be there, too.) 50 kilometer individual runners may participate in this meeting and pick-up their race number, shirt and other items here as an alternative to attending their own pre-race meeting in Ocean Inlet Park at the race starting line at 9:30 AM on race morning. Packet pick-up begins at Ocean Inlet Park at 8:45 AM. Saturday, March 23, 6:00 AM 100 kilometer individual race begins at State Route A1A and Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. Saturday, March 23, 6:10 AM 100 mile team relay race begins at State Route A1A and Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. Saturday, March 23, 7:45 AM 50km runner bus leaves Fort Lauderdale Beach for Ocean Inlet Park starting area. Departure location is the large city parking lot across from the finish line at A1A and Las Olas Blvd. Saturday, March 23, 8:45-9:30 AM PACKET PICK-UP & PRE-RACE MEETING for 50-KM INDIVIDUAL RACE Individual 50k competitors must pick-up their race packets between 8:45 and 9:30 AM at Ocean Inlet Park, Ocean Ridge, FL, unless they have attended the Friday evening meeting in Fort Lauderdale (see above). Promptly at 9:30, a mandatory pre-race meeting will begin to review the course, race rules, support along the route, safety and other items. Saturday, March 23, 10:00 AM 50 kilometer individual race begins at Ocean Inlet Park in Ocean Ridge, FL. Saturday, March 23, 8:00 PM 50 kilometer race ends Saturday, March 23, Approximately 10:00 PM (Time and location to be announced) PALM100 Awards party in Fort Lauderdale. Awards presentation and runner raffle start at 10:00. Sunday, March 24, 2:00 AM 100 mile team relay race and 100 kilometer individual race end. |
