“Official” Race Hotel:
For our second year, the official race hotel for the 2010 PALM100 is the Courtyard by Marriott, Fort Lauderdale Beach, located at 440 Seabreeze Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.   The Courtyard is located at the beach, virtually across the street from the race start and finish line.  A special rate of $179 has been negotiated for PALM100 runners and supporters.  Simply go online to register, by clicking on this link:

Pre-race registration and packet pick-up:
Pre-race registration and packet pick-up will be held at the hotel’s second floor mezzanine from 5:00 until 7:00PM, Friday May 26, 2010.  Individual runners may pick-up their own packets or a team representative may do so for all or part of the team.

Pre-race meeting--MANDATORY:
A short pre-race meeting will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday evening, just after packet pick-up, in the hotel second floor meeting room.  Every team MUST be represented at this meeting.  All runners are invited and encouraged to attend, but are not required to do so, but each team MUST be represented by the team captain or other representative.  Any team that does not have a member in attendance will not be allowed to race on Saturday morning.

Post-Race Awards Party:
Where: On the Hotel swimming pool deck
When: Race night, Saturday, at 10:00 PM
What: Awards.  Sponsor raffle give-aways.  Free drink per runner, then cash bar. Order food from Bubba Gump’s Restaurant menu.  Use of pool and towels.
